The Company:

Our client is a privately held start up company providing B2B services to Blue Chip clients in the sports betting and online gaming industry both in the UK and abroad in both retail and online sectors.

The Role:

The role of CTO will be responsible for:

· Leading all development and operational aspects of IT;

· Ensuring systems uptime and availability 24/7 in a high simultaneous transaction environment;

· Maximise the output from and leverage the skillset of an initially small team;

· Challenge current practices and lead change where beneficial as the company moves from start-up development house to growth-phase operational business;

· Implement policies and procedures with respect to IT environment segregation, change control and release management;

· Manage systems scalability and resource requirements in anticipation of business and customer needs;

· Oversee and manage third party systems integration projects;

· Deliver robust and reliable real-time data service to customers;

· Manage the product development lifecycle – implement development planning, work prioritisation and project management with reference to business needs;

· Ensure effective communication across the business with respect to IT matters;

· Manage day-to-day and capex budget and negotiate favourable supplier terms;

· Design and implement effective disaster recovery plans;

· Ensure IT compliance with all licensing and other regulatory requirements;

· Take the lead with respect to information security, implement security policies and practices, member of risk management committee;

· Implement a service-based focus and mindset within the IT team;

· Recruit, motivate and retain high quality staff;
