Title: Technical Business Analyst

The Company:
Our client is a large and growing online gaming company based in the heart of London’s West End. They require a Technical Business Analyst to work at their outstanding offices as part of the Data Warehouse Team.
The Role:
This role be primarily focussed on gathering requirements from the business for building a new Data Warehouse that will integrate across the business and with 3rd party vendors as well. Reporting to the Product Manager / DW Manager you will be responsible for…
· Delivering clear technical requirements to the dev team;
· Investigating and understanding and translating stakeholder needs and problems;
· Produce clear User Stories and well defined Acceptance criteria;
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills…
- Previous experience as a database developer or business analyst
- At least 4 years of experience working as Business Analyst
- At least 1 year of experience working within Agile methodology (SCRUM)
- 3-5 years of experience within software development projects
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Well-organized
- Previous experience with JIRA and Greenhopper
- Self motivated and passion for the data.
- Proven experience interacting directly with end users.
- Ability to organize, effectively run and minute meetings and conference calls.
- End to end experience of the project lifecycle.
- Results orientated.
- You should understand the core Data Warehouse concepts like Star Schema, Cubes, ODS, OLAP and how they relate to each other.
- Experience of working on complex large-scale projects involving delivery of a new product
- Extremely detail oriented
- Strong prioritization skills
- Should possess an analytical mindset
Desirable:
- Experience of working as a Database developer within web environment (online gaming industry beneficial)
- Additional experience as a Data Analyst as well will be a definite plus.
- Experience in Gambling Industry
Salary/Additional Information:
There is a salary of ~£55,000 on offer for this role as well as generous company benefits.
